Secret Service
There's a good story in Today's Times about the security surrounding Obama;also an excellent slide show. The bit at the end about his being driven through the memorable streets of downtown Dallas really speaks to me. I'm glad he got through safely.
There is also a touching video of Nicholas' Kristof's story about Obama's grandmother. She refused to be interviewed. I believe he says elsewhere it was because he refused to pay, which is Times policy. So he went to the Obama high school and interviewed two boys.
