10 - 0

So it looks like another big night for Barack (I'm making an assumption that he'll win Hawaii - but I think it's a safe one). My mother's worries were unfounded.

The exit polls out of Wisconsin are very encouraging for Barack as the race moves on to Ohio and Texas in two weeks. He is starting to make inroads into her traditional bases of support. Up until now - the demographic breakout of the results have fallen along pretty predictable lines: women and working class people support her, African Americans and younger voters support him. But he nearly closed the gap with women, tied in union households and won every age group except voters over 65.

This is an extremely good night for him - and if Hillary does not rack up big wins on March 4 - it's going to be very hard to argue that she has a plausible path to the nomination. Texas is looking less and less like the firewall of hispanics that her campaign thought it would be and her poll numbers are starting to slip in Ohio. Thursday's debate will be interesting - will it be the love fest that was the Kodak Theater a few weeks ago, or the shouting match from South Carolina back in January.

Even John McCain seems to think he'll be up against Barack.
