Not much going on here in Connecticut except for guests in the yard behind us. It's a weekend house and the owners haven't been up for several weeks; the picture is taken from my back window. Deer are a terrible pest--large rabbits with hooves in terms of garden destruction--but it is a pleasure to watch them and at the moment they seem to be destroying weeds.

And the second picture is Theo (with cell phone) at the inaugural rehearsal. I would doubt he'll be quite that close for the actual event. He isn't blogging, just in case anyone wonders, because it's considered Not a Good Idea for people working for the president-to-be.
