This is going to take some getting used to. But since my first assignment is to post cat pictures, I'll start there. Laranja is the orange one; Catembe the tabby. I've also added a baby picture to prove I go to Africa sometimes; it was taken in Swaziland just about a year ago. I suspect that Laranja thinks she's a person--she loves running water and always begs for a glass when I am working at the sink.

I especially like the picture of the orange cat drinking out of the glass. My cat Quasi(short for Quasimodo) regularly drank out the water glass beside our bed. I would leave it there for him in the morning. Quasi has passed on and we now have a new cat, Slinky Malinki - another glass of water beside the bed drinker.
